Some of the best views of the Grand Canyon may be had on the north rim, where there are fewer people, less constructed development and more solitude. When changing weather flows through, clouds and broken light join forces for great image-making in color and composition in the sky. If you're looking to change your outlook on life, change your view of the world. I spent all day at this location before making this image. Even having no hope of a great sunset during the day, I stayed for hours wandering among ponderosa groves, photographing tiny ground blossoms with a macro lens, snoozing, snacking and sitting in the shade. At end of day, God's light moved to the edge of the horizon and revealed a beautiful moment to seal the day.
